The Sentry Mesh 6161 is a Software Defined Radio hosting our highly robust MANET waveforms that have been proven in applications from Public Safety to Unmanned Systems and Covert Operations. The MeshUltraTM waveform optimises the use of available channel bandwidth through a token passing technology, which avoids collisions and provides a bound, predictable data packet latency. The single-board computer developed by Coats Technology is a core component that implements the performance of weapon systems and satisfies high reliability under environmental conditions such as temperature, vibration, shock, and EMI. It also performs data processing, integration and control of various onboard equipment through data buses, and communication functions to automate command and control, communication, computing, and information elements.

Primarily used in medium-sized and large satellites, it provides high torque performance and momentum conservation. By localizing the Control Moment Gyro controller, which had previously been imported for Korea’s domestic satellite industry, Lumir has gained a competitive advantage in both performance and cost.

The UHF-band TRX module features transmit diversity, allowing selection between two transmit ports and providing an output power of at least 1 W. It includes a gain control function for transmission and an internal local oscillator for IF-to-UHF upconversion. Transmit functions also include ALC (Automatic Level Control) and over-temperature protection. On the receive side, the module selects one of two input channels and performs downconversion. It supports AGC (Automatic Gain Control) with a response time of 80 µs, enabling real-time gain adjustment based on input signal level. The dynamic range of the receive input spans from -100 dBm to -20 dBm, and the noise figure is 5.0 dB or less. Both transmit and receive paths include built-in path self-test functions.

It is constructed with EMCORE’s latest generation quartz gyros, quartz accelerometers, and high-speed signal processing to achieve outstanding precision performance. The solid-state quartz sensors and hermetically sealed IMU construction provide reliable MTBF and a 20-year operating and storage life. Continuous Built-in Test (BIT), configurable communications protocols, electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and flexible input power compatibility make the SDI170 IMU easy to use in a wide range of higher-order integrated commercial and defense system applications.
