The static-dynamic mixer vipro-DUOMIX is perfectly suited for compressible, two-component materials – with very different viscosities, extreme mixing ratios and high-pressure sensitivity. The extended version with optimized mixing blocks for low-viscosity, and high-viscosity materials on either side brings a further advantage: It is ideally suited for materials that are difficult to mix – with different or identical viscosities. As a major contributor in the aircraft manufacturing supply chain, this is a key area of development for AMA and its companies. Customers are increasingly looking to optimise their production processes. This is primarily driven by the need to maximise their own spindle time for core business activities, with AMA therefore undertaking some of the machining processes. It can take many forms, from simple cutting to more intricate processing in which near net shape pieces are supplied. Even in AMA businesses whose business is predominantly transactional (so called ‘spot business’) rather than contractual, the processing element is increasing. Pre-machined kits of parts to individual specifications are becoming more commonplace. In addition to freeing up time for customers and OEMs to focus on more profitable final processing, near net shape processes can improve product quality, reduce variability and enhance component design functionality. Lubricator, a product that supplies lubrication directly to the main engine cylinder liner, can control injection timing and consumption using an electronic control method that responds to the movement of the main engine piston. The alpha lubricator system is based on an algorithm controlling the cylinder oil dosage proportionally to the sulphur content in the fuel and, fuel consumption on particular load of engine. Minimum cylinder oil dosage is required to provide an adequate oil film and detergency properties. Everllence and WIN GD engines are currently applying the second generation Lubricator type, the Everllence type is Mk-I and the WIN GD type is Mk-ε (Epsilon).
