Series 806 meets D38999 performance meeting immersion requirements and provide excellent durability, sealing, and EMI shielding at just half the size and weight of D38999. Between Earth and space: stratosphere-compatible, solar-powered high-altitude aircraft, known as HAPs (High Altitude Platforms), offer a sustainable alternative to satellites for Earth observation and communication. They are reusable, cost-effective and flexible in use. The DLR joint project HAP-alpha is developing such a technology demonstrator and is endeavoring to establish a complete system capable of permanent operation. The aim is for DLR to build up comprehensive expertise for the development of high-performance, high-flying solar aircraft and to play an active role in shaping the legal framework. In summer 2025, the HAP-alpha successfully passed a ground vibration test.

Lumir is the first Korean company to successfully develop and manufacture this onboard equipment, delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to competitors’ products. By integrating non-volatile NAND flash devices into the image data handling unit, storage capacity has been significantly increased, with data retention maintained even when the power is off.The image data handling unit of the satellite is a core device that receives high-speed, large-capacity data output from Earth observation sensors mounted on the satellite—such as SAR or optical cameras—then compresses and stores the data in real time, while also performing encryption and encoding for transmission to ground stations. Lumir has successfully developed and manufactured this satellite-mounted device domestically in Korea for the first time, breaking reliance on imported technologies. This achievement secures Lumir’s competitiveness by delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to foreign products.

A REDCOM SVG system consists of one or more REDCOM Sigma® SVG-1200 units and a series of standard production General Dynamics Sectéra vIPer phones. Each REDCOM SVG-1200 can interface with up to 12 vIPer phones, which act as voice encryptors for TDM or VoIP voice networks. The encryptors allow any line, trunk, or conference port to conduct secure voice communications with any SCIP-capable device. If more than 12 secure talk paths are required, multiple SVG-1200 units may be networked together.

This rocket nozzle featuring conformal cooling channels and isogrid ribbing was manufactured using EOS Copper CuCP, a pure copper material optimized for additive manufacturing. The production required approximately 72 hours, taking advantage of the exceptional thermal and electrical conductivity of pure copper to meet demanding aerospace performance requirements. As one of the few companies in Korea capable of performing metal additive manufacturing with pure copper, we provide advanced technical expertise and support OEM production as well as collaborative technology development projects with various industrial partners. The showcased component was designed by nTopology and demonstrates the synergy of advanced design optimization with state-of-the-art copper additive manufacturing.
