SAIT CIRUS has been fortunate to receive generous funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and Prairies Canada to support the development of our research centre and supporting applied research projects. Our research centre features a diverse and advanced fleet of remotely piloted aircraft, sensors, survey equipment, data processing and modeling software, and hardware. Some of our remotely piloted systems are the only ones in North America, making CIRUS a leading research centre on the continent.

PBS TJ150 turbojet engine features a compact design and excellent thrust-to-weight ratio. Built-in starter-generator provides reliable starting and power to the deck network. Customisation possible (adjustment of hinges, length of outlet nozzle, etc.) A version of the engine with pyrotechnic ignition is available. A version of the engine is available that allows it to be re-used after a landing in salt water.

This EGR-Cooler prototype, developed in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company, was fabricated using EOS Stainless Steel 316L, renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties in demanding automotive applications. The part was additively manufactured over a period of 64 hours, demonstrating the advanced capabilities of metal 3D printing for precision and reliability. Unlike conventional designs, this innovative component integrates 14 separate parts into a single, unified structure, greatly simplifying assembly while enhancing operational efficiency. The implementation of a Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structure within the cooler significantly improves heat exchange performance and enables substantial weight reduction, meeting next-generation thermal management requirements. This fully self-contained pressure test and calibration system combines pressure generation, signal measurement, and loop power to deliver all the convenience of the Druck DPI 610/615, while being half the size, twice as accurate and easy to use. The DPI 611 is the fourth generation of the DPI 600 family, first introduced in 1984. The DPI 600 family revolutionized testing and calibration by providing all the tools for pressure generation and signal measurement in a stand-alone portable package. The DPI 600 soon became the flagship equipment of the industry and today it is simply known as "Druck". Built on a technical legacy and more than 30 years of experience in pressure measurement and calibration, the DPI 611 offers all the convenience and reliability of a true "Druck", while delivering double the performance of a product half its size.
