To guarantee maximum safety and reliability, our DA 30 features a brushless motor and a contactless wear-free position sensor. This means maximum service life with the greatest‐possible power delivery and its design prevents electromagnetic emissions (EMI) caused by brush sparking. The housing made of saltwater‐resistant aluminum is HART‐coat treated, meets the IP‐67 standard for water and dust sealing and provides an integrated Sub‐D connector (MIL spec. circular connector or cable gland on request). The DA 30 series can be equipped with a standard PWM input (Pulse Width Modulation) that has two different interfaces: a differential, galvanic isolated interface (Opto‐Coupler) and a single‐ended interface with CMOS levels that is also used to program the servo parameters. It includes analog position feedback to detect the drive shaft position. A differential RS‐422 PWM interface can be chosen instead of the opto‐coupled interface. The DA 30 with digital serial command interface (RS‐485) receives its commands via a CRC secured protocol. It can return not only the shaft position in digital format, but also several diagnostic data such as the level of the supply voltage, current consumption and the temperature of the motor and electronics in digital form (optionally also the humidity within the actuator case). These kind of diagnostic capabilities help to determine the health state of the actuators before, during and after deployment.

Tactical Information Communication Network (TICN), a core system for network-centric warfare (NCW) It is a communication-based system that guarantees real-time command and control of reconnaissance, surveillance, command decision, and true strike in network-centric warfare (NCW), including network management system (TIPS)/switching system (TIPS), tactical mobile communications system (TMCS), and small-capacity transmission system. It is divided into five subsystems: (LCTRS), High Capacity Transmission System (HCTRS), and Multi-band Multi-Channel Multi-function Radio (TMMR).

The Defence Technological and Industrial Bases is indispensable for maintaining peace and security. After all, it provides an armed force with services and equipment. If it does not, the armed forces are left hobbled. This also applies to the Dutch armed forces. Nevertheless, the defence and security sector is experiencing difficulties in accessing private finance. Referring to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria, companies in the sector would not be able to access private financing from pension institutions, insurers and financial service providers. Because of the same criteria, the sector is experiencing difficulties in opening accounts with private banks. Below is summary on the current state of the issue.

Whether satellites, spacecraft or space debris – GESTRA, the "German Experimental Surveillance and Tracking Radar", is a state-of-the-art radar system for observing and tracking objects in space. It operates in the microwave range and explores the Low Earth Orbit of 300 to 3,000 kilometres, i.e. the range in which most satellites and the International Space Station (ISS) are located. This makes it possible, for example, to protect space systems or the ISS from a collision with debris particles by providing a timely warning. Millions of tiny particles orbit the earth and, at a speed of around 28,000 km/h, pose a threat to active space technologies. GESTRA was developed and built by the Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques FHR on behalf of the German Space Agency at DLR.
