It is an UAV recovery system that lands a fixed-wing UAV even in mountainous terrain where there is no sufficient runway for landing. Similar to the arresting hook method used to land an aircraft on an aircraft carrier, the UAV is caught by a pendant and braked, and a net is also added in case of an emergency.

The Cardinal 1280 is a high-definition SWIR InGaAs detector featuring a 10μm pixel pitch. The D56M differential pressure switch provides high precision measurement across a wide range of low-differential pressure conditions in a package smaller than other units of comparable capability. The membrane senses changes between the “high” and “low” pressure inlets while offering excellent repeatability and high cycle life. Optional hermetically sealed contacts mean the D56M can be well suited when vapor ignition is a concern.
