It streams at 30 Hz in either UVC (USB-C, 5 V) or GMSL1 (FAKRA, 12 V), with power consumption < 1.9 W. The compact, lightweight housing (30×30×58.9 mm for UVC; 30×30×70.9 mm with FAKRA for GMSL1; IP65; −40 °C to 85 °C) makes it well-suited for autonomous vehicles, UAVs, and security systems, providing reliable day/night thermal perception of pedestrians, animals, and objects in adverse weather.

Yuan Thor platform serves as the computational core for autonomous systems. Temperature Calibrated Pressure Sensors The Air Data Unit features very high accuracy absolute and differential pressure sensors. These are factory calibrated over a wide temperature range to further increase measurement accuracy and provide the best air data possible through varying conditions. Power Up Self-Calibration On top of factory temperature calibration, every time the air data unit powers up, it performs a self excitation calibration to adjust for small deviations of bias and scaling error. This allows the system to compensate for calibration aging and means that it never needs to be returned to the factory for recalibration. Reliability The Air Data Unit is built on top of a safety oriented real time operating system and all software is designed and tested to safety standards with fault tolerance. Its communication interface is optically isolated and the hardware is designed and tested to MIL spec.

The DLR exhibit "Maritime Situation Image" at the Seoul ADEX 2025 uses a VR presentation to illustrate how the use of maritime situation images can be utilised for the protection of maritime infrastructures. Three subject areas are presented and explained: the ‘SeaCat’ autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) concept on object detection in the underwater area, the topic muon tomography, i.e. the use of cosmic radiation (muons) for the tomographic examination of objects such as freight containers, and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) on the detection of ships and submerged objects using fibre optic cables on the seabed.
