Built upon the same Call-For-Fire and Close Air Support software engine that powers the accredited simulation Fires FST™, SAF-FIRESTM delivers the same mature and complete Joint Fires training solution but makes it available for integration with any DIS, HLA or CIGI compatible simulation or Image Generator. Supporting both conventional near-peer and counter-insurgency operational scenarios, SAF-FIRES™ enables JFOs and JTACs to train realistically in a modern complex battlespace against an agile and adaptive adversary. Heightened realism and cognitively challenging training are enabled through the incorporation of non-combatants, urban clutter, UAV surveillance, various close air support platforms and accurate military targeting procedures.

This rocket nozzle featuring conformal cooling channels and isogrid ribbing was manufactured using EOS Copper CuCP, a pure copper material optimized for additive manufacturing. The production required approximately 72 hours, taking advantage of the exceptional thermal and electrical conductivity of pure copper to meet demanding aerospace performance requirements. The showcased component was designed by nTopology and demonstrates the synergy of advanced design optimization with state-of-the-art copper additive manufacturing.

Inserts are used in the aerospace industry in lightweight sandwich panels and are then bonded. The panels can then be screwed or various components can be fastened. However, the manual process has several disadvantages: Enormous expenditure of time for the manual filling of several thousand inserts, high material waste due to relaxation of the material, and high material costs through the use of cartridges. ViscoTec can map the filling process automatically. The dispensing process is absolutely precise. A significant amount of material can thus be saved. In addition, material can be supplied from large containers, which in turn lowers purchase prices. Another important advantage: As a rule, no new specifications have to be made since no changes are made to the actual process.
