Technology research that needs to be developed/secured to efficiently train future combat pilots ETS must have the ability to provide a realistic training environment in which pilots can immerse themselves in training through the use of simulations and CGFs within a real platform. The advantage of ETS is that it provides trainees with a training experience that is close to the real thing and reduces overall system operating costs by replacing real systems and consumables with simulations. Developed countries are already continuing to attempt to apply various core technologies to increase the efficiency of ETS. The 1-component or 2-component materials are processed gently – without changing their material properties. The material application can be fully automated or semi-automated. The DLR exhibit "Maritime Situation Image" at the Seoul ADEX 2025 uses a VR presentation to illustrate how the use of maritime situation images can be utilised for the protection of maritime infrastructures. Three subject areas are presented and explained: the ‘SeaCat’ autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) concept on object detection in the underwater area, the topic muon tomography, i.e. the use of cosmic radiation (muons) for the tomographic examination of objects such as freight containers, and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) on the detection of ships and submerged objects using fibre optic cables on the seabed.

As a major contributor in the aircraft manufacturing supply chain, this is a key area of development for AMA and its companies. Customers are increasingly looking to optimise their production processes. This is primarily driven by the need to maximise their own spindle time for core business activities, with AMA therefore undertaking some of the machining processes. It can take many forms, from simple cutting to more intricate processing in which near net shape pieces are supplied. Even in AMA businesses whose business is predominantly transactional (so called ‘spot business’) rather than contractual, the processing element is increasing. Pre-machined kits of parts to individual specifications are becoming more commonplace. In addition to freeing up time for customers and OEMs to focus on more profitable final processing, near net shape processes can improve product quality, reduce variability and enhance component design functionality. As the industry continues to search for ways to lower buy-to-fly ratios and reduce the amount of waste, near net shape processing will have a greater role to play.

METRAVIB PEARL is a miniaturized acoustic gunshot detection system initially designed for infantry and dismounted soldier who is in direct contact with the enemy.
