Rolatube IAM (Integrated Antenna Mast) is a lightweight, man-portable communications mast that integrates a high-efficiency dipole antenna directly into its structure—redefining rapid tactical deployment. Built from Rolatube’s proprietary bistable composite, the IAM unrolls to full height without tools, enabling users to connect and transmit in seconds. Available in 3.5 m and 7 m models, the mast weighs just 1.9 kg and packs down to a 150 mm roll, offering unmatched portability for dismounted operations. Designed for reliable RF performance, the IAM ensures no signal loss when in contact with grounded surfaces. Its embedded omni-directional dipole antenna delivers superior range and VOR communication performance compared to traditional systems. The 3.5 m IAM comes in VHF (30–300 MHz) and UHF (136–470 MHz) variants, each available in four colours, with a top-cap socket for L-Band antenna integration, extending the system’s use to applications such as telemetry, GPS, and aircraft surveillance. The mast can be handheld, guyed, or elevated via an integrated rigging point, and is engineered to meet MIL-STD-810G, fully maintenance-free, and resistant to water, dust, and UV. With a wind rating of 100 km/h (62 mph) when guyed, the IAM stands up to demanding field environments while delivering high-performance, elevated communications infrastructure at the tactical edge.

International projects The NIDV organizes various opportunities for its participants to improve their international opportunities. The NIDV facilitates international trade fair participation, matchmaking events with international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and meetings about international opportunities. Trade fairs and trade missions Participation in trade fairs takes place in close consultation and collaboration with a number of departments. The Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense and Economic Affairs are involved in the activities. For the government part, the RVO is involved in the creation of the Dutch pavilion and hospitality lounge with the help of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. In addition to trade fairs and trade missions, the NIDV actively participates in various international projects. Partners for International Business (PIB) Partners for International Business (PIB) is a program that allows Dutch companies to realize their international ambitions in a public-private partnership. Doing business abroad is not always easy. You may encounter trade barriers, insufficient knowledge among local governments and companies, or adverse local legislation. Collaborating with other companies in the sector and the Dutch government can ensure that you are in a stronger position. Alliance II The NIDV will participate in EU-ALLIANCE II from 2021 to 2023, this European project aims to support SMEs on the international market in the field of technical textiles, connectivity and advanced materials on “dual use” markets in four target countries , namely: United States, Canada, Japan and Indonesia.

[Cutting by water jet] Micro water jet cutting: The micro water jet enables a refined process to be carried out in precision cutting. This high-precision technology reduces the jet diameter by a factor of 5 and makes water jet cutting more precise by a factor of 10. The micro water jet achieves a cutting accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm and a positioning accuracy of ±0.005 mm. The proven advantages of the cold cutting process remain unchanged. In the pure water process, the cutting width was reduced to 0.2 mm in the abrasive process for hard materials such as nickel-based alloys and titanium. The new technology controls the cutting process and manipulates the cutting path depending on the contour and speed enabling a highly precise cut. Standard waterjet cutting: Water jet cutting is highly efficient and at the same time less severe than other cutting techniques. Low process forces and thermal loads prevent bending or melting. We can cut filigree delicate contours from practically all nickel alloys and titanium alloys. Using our standard process we can cut a range of shapes and dimensions according to customer requirements and drawings and achieve tolerances of +/- 0.1 mm or +/- 0.2 mm.
