MKS Ophir
Large-mirror optical components design & production
Large mirrors are crucial in various optical systems, particularly long-range multi-spectral setups for defense, surveillance, and commercial use, like UAV optics and agricultural temperature monitoring. Aerospace applications, such as satellites and telescopes, are common. These mirrors come in different shapes and materials, including Al, Si, Ge, and Cu, spanning visible, UV, and IR spectrums. By using advanced CNC grinding, polishing, and diamond turning we provide precise surface forms, with tight tolerances, and multispectral performance. Our mirrors, up to 700mm in diameter, provide impressive specifications: 0.05% radius tolerance, less than 0.5Fr P-V irregularities, 0.1Fr RMS at 0.633μ, and sub-40Å RMS roughness. SCXMC-HDLC(High-level Data Link Control)
The SCXMC-HDLC card operates through the XMC interface of the SBC and provides real-time communication for control and status data based on synchronization signals. It supports serial communication via the SBCRTM’s Micro D-sub 37-pin connector using a standard D-sub 9-pin interface, allowing long-distance transmission through LVDS signaling. With four transmit/receive channels, it achieves 1–8 Mbps per channel and delivers low-latency performance of less than 40 µs for real-time operations. A device driver program is required for operation, and the Linux driver can be downloaded from Seedcore’s product page. Drivers for other operating systems can be developed upon request. This module is deployed in the L-SAM multi-function radar system, enabling fast and reliable control data communication across mission-critical components.

Wrap-around Antenna
The Haigh-Farr Wraparound™ is a self-contained omnidirectional antenna for cylindrical or conical shaped bodies. A single point feed is used and no external splitters, combiners or cable harnesses are required for installation. The antenna is conformal, and may be mounted flush, or on the exterior of the vehicle. Designs are available from 300 MHz to 13 GHz with typical applications including Flight Termination, GPS, Telemetry, Data Links and Transponder. Multiple antenna elements may be combined within the same physical Wraparound™, providing multi- band capability in a single, compact package. Wraparound™ antennas have been flown on vehicles from subsurface sea to space, including high-mach kinetic kill weapons, high-G projectiles and re-entry vehicles. The Wraparound™ has been qualified for use on several high performance vehicles flown on test and launch ranges throughout the United States and Europe. For high aero-heating applications an ablative heat shield may be added to the antenna for additional thermal protection.

EMCORE’s exclusive DSP design is covered by multiple patents* and overcomes the limitations of analog signal processing, eliminating temperature-sensitive drift and rotation errors. *This product is covered by one or more patents, including U.S. Patent #6,429,939, “DSP Signal Processing for Open Loop Fiber Optic Sensors.” Feature Options Two Versatile Variants If you need a compact FOG with a powerful high-speed RS-422 interface with 1000 Hz asynchronous output, consider the DSP-3100 FOG. If you require a true RS-422 interface and a 1000 Hz synchronous output in a durable, shielded package, take a look at the DSP-3400.
