Cutting by water jet

Micro water jet cutting:
The micro water jet enables a refined process to be carried out in precision cutting. This high-precision technology reduces the jet diameter by a factor of 5 and makes water jet cutting more precise by a factor of 10. The micro water jet achieves a cutting accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm and a positioning accuracy of ±0.005 mm. The proven advantages of the cold cutting process remain unchanged.
In the pure water process, the cutting width was reduced to 0.2 mm in the abrasive process for hard materials such as nickel-based alloys and titanium. The new technology controls the cutting process and manipulates the cutting path depending on the contour and speed enabling a highly precise cut.
Standard waterjet cutting:
Water jet cutting is highly efficient and at the same time less severe than other cutting techniques. Low process forces and thermal loads prevent bending or melting. We can cut filigree delicate contours from practically all nickel alloys and titanium alloys. Using our standard process we can cut a range of shapes and dimensions according to customer requirements and drawings and achieve tolerances of +/- 0.1 mm or +/- 0.2 mm.

Blade Antennas
The Haigh-Farr family of rugged Blade antennas is available in frequencies ranging from UHF to upper C-band. Since 1972, our blade antennas have a demonstrated reliability of use in high-performance airborne applications. In addition, they are used extensively in ground-based vehicles such as race cars, trucks, tanks, and motorcycles, to name a few.
60XX & 61XX Series: Our 60XX & 61XX Series blade antennas have quasi-uniform null-free hemispherical gain patterns and may be provided in either straight or rounded blade configurations. 60XX and 61XX Series blade antennas are available in standard and high powered versions. With sufficient airflow, our standard blades handle an average power of 25 - 30W CW and our High Powered blades can handle an average power of 80W CW. These blade antennas share a common footprint with varying height.
Multiband: Haigh-Farr Multiband blade antennas utilize identical materials and construction as our 60XX & 61XX series blade antennas with additional bandwidth.
UHF: Haigh-Farr UHF blade antennas provide coverage down to 380 MHz and up to 470 MHz in two unique form factors. Our 6300-X series of blade antennas utilize identical materials and construction as our 60XX & 61XX series blade antennas in the larger blade structure required at UHF-band. Our P/N’s 16230-XXX and 16400-XXX are low profile, mechanically robust designs that can be custom tuned to meet discrete UHF frequencies, with an option to add thermal protection for high temperature environments.

Our stabilized T&T antenna systems work in extreme temperature conditions (-40°C to 55°C) and in rough weather, for example, at base stations that are close to the ocean or on high mountain ranges.

Carbon Composite Fuel Quantity Probes
Liquid Measurement System (LMS) capacitance AC and DC fuel gauging probes use lightweight and durable carbon composite materials. In addition to being some of the lightest fuel probes in the industry, they are also virtually immune to corrosion, cracking, dents, and extreme field conditions. Our capacitance probes are inherently crash resistance by collapsing onto itself during hard impact landings to avoid tank penetration and fuel leaks. All electrical connections on the probe are bonded, and there is no friction or riveted electrical connections.

The SWIR & NIR 25-250mm f/5.5 (NFOV) f/4.0 (WFOV) continuous zoom lens is a first to market low-Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP), compact lens, for the newly introduced 5μm SXGA, as well as for 10μm SXGA, and 15μm VGA SWIR detectors.
The SWIR & NIR zoom lens employs a unique mechanical and optical design, resulting in an all-around smaller and lighter unit with only 860gr in weight, and 224mm in length, making it approximately 60% lighter than similar existing SWIR lenses.
The SWIR lens is also chromatically corrected to support a broader short-wave IR wavelength regime from 0.7-1.7μm and operates with minimal distortion.
The SWIR & NIR 25-250mm f/5.5 (NFOV) f/4.0 (WFOV) continuous zoom lens presents an unrivaled combination of SWaP capabilities, detection range exceeding 26km.

KX1-3046
The KX1-3046 is an X-band high-power MMIC amplifier fabricated on the GaN-on-SiC process. It operates from 8.0 – 10.5 GHz and typically provides 30W saturated output power with power-added efficiency of 46%.
The KX1-3046 can support military and commercial radar systems. It is matched to 50Ω with integrated DC blocking capacitors on both RF input and output ports.
The KX1-3046 is 100% DC and RF tested on-wafer. It is available in chip form.

With the GSG-8 Simulator, you can generate RF signals to simulate how your receiver device will react in the real world, under the simulation parameters that you set. Control every aspect of your simulation, including 6 Degrees of Freedom (DoF) receiver trajectories, multi-vehicle simulation, multi-path signals, jamming and spoofing, as well as atmospheric interferences.
The GSG-8 is the most popular positioning, navigation, and timing test solution offered through Safran’s GSG family of Skydel-based simulators.
