The ACTUS® CORE-2 Dot Sight is a high-performance optical device chosen as the Warrior Platform Selection Equipment by the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA). Built to MIL-SPEC standards, it is a further development of our ACTUS® CORE-1 Dot Sight. Housed in a smaller form factor, the ACTUS® CORE-2 meets rigorous military requirements, including extreme temperature resistance, shock testing, waterproofing, and protection against fluid contamination. Designed for durability and reliability, the CORE-2 enhances operator safety in the field, ensuring quick and precise target acquisition during critical missions.

The SDI170 IMU is designed for demanding, mission-critical, rugged environments and ideal for continuous use applications with no wear-out components, highly linear accelerometer performance and longer life compared to competing alternatives. It is constructed with EMCORE’s latest generation quartz gyros, quartz accelerometers, and high-speed signal processing to achieve outstanding precision performance. The solid-state quartz sensors and hermetically sealed IMU construction provide reliable MTBF and a 20-year operating and storage life. Continuous Built-in Test (BIT), configurable communications protocols, electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and flexible input power compatibility make the SDI170 IMU easy to use in a wide range of higher-order integrated commercial and defense system applications.

The system is designed to maximise installation flexibility, through optional power and diagnostics data over RF (permitting the use of a single cable), and a highly reconfigurable baseplate to allow the mounting holes and connector type/ position to be tailored to the target platform. Use of Chelton’s established and field-tested GNSS Anti-Jam core firmware provides a high degree of protection against complex threat scenarios and in highly dynamic environments. A software definable core allows future upgradeable ‘Signal Intelligence Apps’ to be hosted, providing the user with situational awareness of the battlefield environment and allows feedback into mission planning activities.
