International projects The NIDV organizes various opportunities for its participants to improve their international opportunities. Trade fairs and trade missions Participation in trade fairs takes place in close consultation and collaboration with a number of departments. Woori DS Co., Ltd. has developed firmware for a cooling and heating air conditioning system that performs all controls, fault diagnosis and communication for heating and cooling control and positive pressure control inside an armored vehicle, and developed an inverter control device capable of controlling communication with the armored vehicle body system and monitoring error situations. We are developing products based on the best technology and competitiveness to satisfy customer requirements for electrical equipment required for armored vehicles. In addition, we have developed an air conditioning system blower durability test device that can test the durability of air conditioning blowers, and we have secured test and evaluation technology for blower durability by checking blower errors and performing cycle management. From multi-mission remotely piloted aircraft to sustainment, training, and support services.

In collaboration with Hanwha Systems, we developed and optimized a Transformer-based AI model for ship and aircraft detection on embedded platforms. Targeting NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX, the project utilized the MSAR (640×640) dataset along with large-scale training databases built from public sources. The RT-DETR model, currently under review, was optimized through hardware-friendly design, Int8 quantization, and specialized inference acceleration. As a result, the solution achieved up to 5x faster inference speed while maintaining accuracy, reaching 20% of NVIDIA TensorRT performance. This demonstrates the ability to deliver reliable, real-time detection capabilities in resource-constrained embedded environments, enabling next-generation defense and surveillance applications.
