The PANDION Q450 is a modular drone that allows users to swap out its detachable D-ARK module pack, enabling flexible configurations of cameras and internal PCBs. In collaboration with Hanwha Systems, we developed and optimized a Transformer-based AI model for ship and aircraft detection on embedded platforms. Targeting NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX, the project utilized the MSAR (640×640) dataset along with large-scale training databases built from public sources. The RT-DETR model, currently under review, was optimized through hardware-friendly design, Int8 quantization, and specialized inference acceleration. As a result, the solution achieved up to 5x faster inference speed while maintaining accuracy, reaching 20% of NVIDIA TensorRT performance. This demonstrates the ability to deliver reliable, real-time detection capabilities in resource-constrained embedded environments, enabling next-generation defense and surveillance applications.

Hyundai Elevator is leveraging its expertise in elevator technology to develop infrastructure for urban air mobility (UAM). We are working on takeoff, landing, charging, and maintenance platforms that can be built on top of existing buildings, solving space constraints in congested urban environments. By integrating non-volatile NAND flash devices into the image data handling unit, storage capacity has been significantly increased, with data retention maintained even when the power is off.The image data handling unit of the satellite is a core device that receives high-speed, large-capacity data output from Earth observation sensors mounted on the satellite—such as SAR or optical cameras—then compresses and stores the data in real time, while also performing encryption and encoding for transmission to ground stations. Lumir has successfully developed and manufactured this satellite-mounted device domestically in Korea for the first time, breaking reliance on imported technologies. This achievement secures Lumir’s competitiveness by delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to foreign products.

The X-BEAM TECH HXB Connectors, featuring expanded beam technology, hermaphroditic connection, rugged construction for field deployment have been designed for harsh environment applications such as military tactical communications, avionics, offshore systems, outside broadcast, mining and plant. The expanded beam technology uses expanded and collimated beams to couple optical fibers without any contact. It could allow for optics to be used in areas that have been quite restrictive due to presence of damage or contamination at the fiber end. Hermaphroditic connector design enables fast deployment by daisy-chaining multiple cable segments. HXB series connectors also enable transfer of electrical signal or power using hybrid insert configuration.
