Public Address Amplifier System

The Public Address Amplifier System (PAAS) consists of an ARINC 715 Public Address Amplifier (PAA), optional handsets, and certified loudspeakers. It is interfaced with the Audio Management Unit (AMU). The PAA can provide 120W of audio power to 18x loudspeakers (8 ohms) in the cargo bay and 22W to 3x loudspeakers in the cockpit and lavatory. It includes a chime sound generator.

The AVIATOR special-purpose product range consists of one of the Satellite Data Units (Satcom radios) SDU-7315, SDU-7320, SDU-7330 and, depending on the system configuration, is deployed with an HLD-7260 (High Power/Low Noise/Diplexer) for single-channel systems, or an HPA-7450 (High Power Amplifier) and the DAU-7070 (Diplexer/Low Noise Amplifier) for multi-channel systems.
