LPB Series is a Pressure Balance used as a pneumatic/hydraulic primary standard.
The LPB Series is a high-precision primary standard that boasts excellent pressure stabilization and long-term stability. The LPB Series has a separate pressure generator/regulator, so the pressure generator/regulator can be used independently.
Laon's Pressure Balance (LPB series) is divided into three types depending on the compression medium and piston lubrication method.
There is the Oil model LPB-H, which uses gas as the compression medium and lubrication of the piston, and the Model LPB-G(V), which uses gas for lubrication of the oil compressed piston, from gauge pressure to absolute vacuum pressure, and has gas compression magic at the 100 MPa level. There is LPB-GH whose piston lubrication method is oil.
In particular, LPB-GH has the advantage of sharing a piston with the oil-only LPB-H, and a separate port for decompression is created to minimize contamination of the device under test (DUT) during experiments. In addition, all three types are very economical because the manual mass and the mass for the automatic weight selection device (LPB-AS) can be used in common.
