The Glenair next-generation STAR-PAN NG ecosystem incorporates a range of new capabilities in direct response to requests from JTACs, special operations forces, mission commanders, and other military specialists. Design innovations in STAR-PAN NG have resulted in higher current-carrying capabilities, greater versatility in power input support, and real-time plug-and-play USB device integration. The STAR-PAN NG hub and cable series offers a number of interface improvements and circuit board innovation.

It is an UAV recovery system that lands a fixed-wing UAV even in mountainous terrain where there is no sufficient runway for landing. The family of PBS TJ40 turbojet engines features a compact design and excellent thrust-to-weight ratio. A VGA (640×480) LWIR (8–12 µm) uncooled micro-bolometer module with 12 µm pixel pitch and NETD ≤ 50 mK, paired with an F1.0, 10.7 mm EFL lens delivering H42° / V31.5° / D52.5° FOV. It streams at 30 Hz in either UVC (USB-C, 5 V) or GMSL1 (FAKRA, 12 V), with power consumption < 1.9 W.
