Neustrelitz is located 100 kilometres north of Berlin. Here, DLR receives data from the German radar missions TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X, the KOMPSAT satellites of the Korean Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), the European Sentinel fleet and the American Landsat series, among others. The multi-antenna and multi-mission configuration of the ground station allows information products to be delivered to customers within minutes after data reception. These include products for national and European authorities for maritime safety, such as wind and sea state estimates, ice classification, ship navigation through ice-covered waters, detection of navigation irregularities or oil spills as well as the space weather. The Neustrelitz ground station offers data reception in the S, X, and Ka bands as well as data uplink in the S and X bands.

Accordingly, our company secures static and dynamic strength considering driving conditions through optimized design technology and maximizes excellent quality and reliability through our own performance tests such as high strength, weight reduction, and shape optimization, and supplies wheels of various specifications for use in special vehicles.

Inserts are used in the aerospace industry in lightweight sandwich panels and are then bonded. The panels can then be screwed or various components can be fastened. However, the manual process has several disadvantages: Enormous expenditure of time for the manual filling of several thousand inserts, high material waste due to relaxation of the material, and high material costs through the use of cartridges. ViscoTec can map the filling process automatically. The dispensing process is absolutely precise. A significant amount of material can thus be saved. In addition, material can be supplied from large containers, which in turn lowers purchase prices. Another important advantage: As a rule, no new specifications have to be made since no changes are made to the actual process.

To guarantee maximum safety and reliability, our DA 30 features a brushless motor and a contactless wear-free position sensor. This means maximum service life with the greatest‐possible power delivery and its design prevents electromagnetic emissions (EMI) caused by brush sparking. The housing made of saltwater‐resistant aluminum is HART‐coat treated, meets the IP‐67 standard for water and dust sealing and provides an integrated Sub‐D connector (MIL spec. circular connector or cable gland on request). Brackets integrated in the housing for horizontal and vertical assembly. 8‐fold, ball‐bearing supported, steel gear train, drive shaft with ANSI multi‐tooth. The DA 30 series can be equipped with a standard PWM input (Pulse Width Modulation) that has two different interfaces: a differential, galvanic isolated interface (Opto‐Coupler) and a single‐ended interface with CMOS levels that is also used to program the servo parameters. It includes analog position feedback to detect the drive shaft position. A differential RS‐422 PWM interface can be chosen instead of the opto‐coupled interface. The DA 30 with digital serial command interface (RS‐485) receives its commands via a CRC secured protocol. It can return not only the shaft position in digital format, but also several diagnostic data such as the level of the supply voltage, current consumption and the temperature of the motor and electronics in digital form (optionally also the humidity within the actuator case). These kind of diagnostic capabilities help to determine the health state of the actuators before, during and after deployment.

High reliability KA series MIL-DTL-55302 compliant connectors offer signal contacts designed for demanding defense, commercial aerospace and space applications. The 2 and 3 row series are compliant to MIL-DTL-55302 and offer flexibility not available with other interconnects. The 4 and 5 row versions are also available and offer up to 490 contacts.
