The CI Systems ILET (Intermediate-Level Electro-Optical Tester) family of test systems is ideally suited for performing I-level optical tests and laboratory testing. Portable, compact and computerized, ILET testers can be installed on a vehicle, bringing comprehensive testing of thermal imagers and visible light sensors to the field, reducing the need of D-Level facilities. The basic ILET configuration includes a collimator, a radiation source (blackbody and/or visible light source) and a target wheel (manual or motorized). The ILET is easy to use when interfaced with CI Systems’ CTE software (optional), minimizing testing turnaround time and maximizing testing objectivity and repeatability. The testers retain their accuracy over a wide range of ambient temperatures. The AMT-206-1 composite tail rotor blade is a direct replacement for Bell 206A and 206B series helicopter tail rotor blades. Now fitted with a new style of feathering bearings manufactured by KAMATICS. These bearings provide a longer life expectancy, with a patented lining that provides lighter pedal loads and a higher level of chemical resistance, compared to that of the standard fabric Teflon-lined bearings. The AMT-206-1 tail rotor blade has a non-symmetrical airfoil section and incorporates a swept tip. The T/R Blade is primarily fabricated from uni-directional Graphite (carbon fiber) and Aramid (Kevlar™) continuous fibers suspended in an epoxy matrix and is fitted with a nickel abrasion strip on the leading edge. The abrasion strip is bonded on using a urethane adhesive. The AMT-206-1 composite tail rotor blades have a 30% cost advantage, twice the lifespan, higher strength and thrust, and a substantial noise reduction, making them safer and ideal for helicopter operators flying in noise-sensitive areas like national parks and built-up areas.
