The NSP-8 is IMSAR’s most powerful radar. It is capable of advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Moving Target Indication (MTI), and Magnitude Change Detection (MCD). When paired with an airborne server, it can even produce SAR Motion Video (SMV). IMSAR adds value to its exceptional engineering with a production time much faster than industry standard. The NSP-8 is designed for durability and thoroughly tested with a Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) of over 2,000 hours. Additionally, it’s weatherized for optimal performance over land and sea. With this sensor, IMSAR’s users can understand the bigger picture.

Whether satellites, spacecraft or space debris – GESTRA, the "German Experimental Surveillance and Tracking Radar", is a state-of-the-art radar system for observing and tracking objects in space. It operates in the microwave range and explores the Low Earth Orbit of 300 to 3,000 kilometres, i.e. the range in which most satellites and the International Space Station (ISS) are located. This makes it possible, for example, to protect space systems or the ISS from a collision with debris particles by providing a timely warning. Millions of tiny particles orbit the earth and, at a speed of around 28,000 km/h, pose a threat to active space technologies. GESTRA was developed and built by the Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques FHR on behalf of the German Space Agency at DLR.

CATIS™ is an ultra-high-resolution, small satellite imaging radar device independently developed by Lumir. It consists of three components: the radar signal transmission/reception device SCEU, an active phased array antenna SATA, and a data downlink antenna KaPA. This X-band imaging radar device is designed for small satellites weighing 150 kg, offering an ultra-high resolution of 0.3 m. It transmits wideband RF signals to the observation area while orbiting at an altitude of 500 km and receives the reflected signals to acquire Earth observation data.
