It is an UAV recovery system that lands a fixed-wing UAV even in mountainous terrain where there is no sufficient runway for landing. The Fibre Channel D-sub connector series features a multi-finger ground spring fixed around the shell provides a multi-point contact engagement that affords superior EMI shielding. The end result is extremely low contact resistance when measured from the contact outer body to the connector flange. The Fibre Channel D-Sub series also delivers superior performance ensuring minimal RF noise and high durability up to 1,000 mating cycles, while meeting and surpassing all requirements of MIL-STD-202 for shock and vibration. Offered with 150 Ohm quadrax contacts, the connectors are available with 2, 4, 6 or 8 way insert arrangements. Additionally, D-Sub connectors feature ease of assembly, and a robust and comprehensive training package. To ensure that the correct high speed connectors are mated to address specific wiring requirements and keying functions, a keyed jack post option has been incorporated into the design. The six-positioned post allows for 36 possible keying combinations assuring that the correct Fibre Channel D-Sub plug is mated to the correct high speed receptacle. Non-keyed jack post versions are available as well. Fibre Channel D-Sub connectors feature size 3 quadrax contacts which are 30% larger than the size 9 configuration utilized in the 100 Ohm quadrax, ensuring a matched impedance signal throughout the contact mated pair at 150 Ohm differential impedance. These features ensure that Smiths Interconnect's Fibre Channel D-Sub connectors deliver the critical edge customers require.

By integrating non-volatile NAND flash devices into the image data handling unit, storage capacity has been significantly increased, with data retention maintained even when the power is off.The image data handling unit of the satellite is a core device that receives high-speed, large-capacity data output from Earth observation sensors mounted on the satellite—such as SAR or optical cameras—then compresses and stores the data in real time, while also performing encryption and encoding for transmission to ground stations. Lumir has successfully developed and manufactured this satellite-mounted device domestically in Korea for the first time, breaking reliance on imported technologies. This achievement secures Lumir’s competitiveness by delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to foreign products.

AI Navigation Algorithm The Certus Mini range features Advanced Navigation’s revolutionary AI neural network sensor fusion algorithm. The algorithm was designed for control applications and has a high level of health monitoring and instability prevention to ensure stable and reliable data. High-Performance MEMS The Certus Mini range contains high performance MEMS sensors that are put through Advanced Navigation’s intensive 8 hour temperature calibration process. This provides the highest accuracy possible from this sensor class and outputs consistent accuracy over the full temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. Reliability The Certus Mini range has been designed from the ground up for mission-critical control applications where reliability is essential. Built using a safety-oriented real-time operating system, all software is designed and tested to high safety standards with fault-tolerance in mind. The Certus Mini range is designed, manufactured and tested to military standards. L1/L5 Multi Constellation RTK GNSS The Certus Mini D supports L1/L5 dual frequencies, and GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and NavIC constellations. Access to multiple constellations and frequencies provides enhanced accuracy, availability and performance even in difficult environments such as multi-storey urban canyons. The GNSS receiver has 10 mm position accuracy with real-time RTK or post-processed PPK. Dual Antenna Heading The Certus Mini D provides a high accuracy heading solution using two GNSS antennas. The Certus Mini D rapidly and consistently maintains an accurate heading without the need for magnetic calibration and is unaffected by magnetic interference. Additionally, the system can determine heading while stationary. This makes it well-suited to applications where there is limited, or no, positional movement.

The system is designed to maximise installation flexibility, through optional power and diagnostics data over RF (permitting the use of a single cable), and a highly reconfigurable baseplate to allow the mounting holes and connector type/ position to be tailored to the target platform. Use of Chelton’s established and field-tested GNSS Anti-Jam core firmware provides a high degree of protection against complex threat scenarios and in highly dynamic environments. A software definable core allows future upgradeable ‘Signal Intelligence Apps’ to be hosted, providing the user with situational awareness of the battlefield environment and allows feedback into mission planning activities.
