By integrating non-volatile NAND flash devices into the image data handling unit, storage capacity has been significantly increased, with data retention maintained even when the power is off.The image data handling unit of the satellite is a core device that receives high-speed, large-capacity data output from Earth observation sensors mounted on the satellite—such as SAR or optical cameras—then compresses and stores the data in real time, while also performing encryption and encoding for transmission to ground stations. Lumir has successfully developed and manufactured this satellite-mounted device domestically in Korea for the first time, breaking reliance on imported technologies. This achievement secures Lumir’s competitiveness by delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to foreign products.

We established and maintain a cooperative relationship with ROK and USG military to support the comprehensive maintenance of military aircraft, from F-4, F-15, F-16, A-10, UH-60, to CH-47, and more. Based on Korean Air's expertise in commercial aviation operation, we plan to introduce the "Performance-Based Logistics System", a next-generation maintenance support concept, to realize high-level follow-up military support services.

The NSP-5 is an all-weather, multimode, Ku-band radar designed to fly on Group 3-4 Unmanned Airborne Systems (UAS). Its low-Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) design means ample room for other onboard sensors, such as Electro-Optical and Infrared (EO/IR) cameras. This means users can understand the bigger picture. The NSP-5 is capable of performing spot and stripmap Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Magnitude Change Detection (MCD), as well as Moving Target Indication (MTI) collections in a variety of maritime and land environments in all weather conditions. This includes smoke, fog and other obscurations where the operators do not have a clear view of the terrain below them. The NSP-5 has a proven track record of reliability and has a recommended maintenance interval of 2,000 hours. Additionally, the modular design makes the NSP-5 easy to integrate onto most platforms.
