Surion is evolving into a world-class helicopter The KUH-1, as known as Surion, is the multi-role utility helicopter. The Surion, complete with excellent maneuverability and a world-class hovering capability features cutting-edge avionics system. The copters have been deployed in the Republic of Korea Army(RoKA) for operation since the end of 2012 and carry out missions including troop transport, airfreight, contributing to strengthening military power. KAI continues to expand the scope of operation by development and modification of the military variants such as Amphibious for Marine Corps and MEDEVAC but also para-public uses for National Police Agency, Coast Guard, Firefighting and forest service and so on.

It supports both daytime and nighttime monitoring, making it highly versatile in various missions. The drone is optimized for portability, allowing operators to carry and deploy it with ease. Its compact design ensures rapid response capabilities while maintaining reliable performance in the field.

CATIS™ is an ultra-high-resolution, small satellite imaging radar device independently developed by Lumir. It consists of three components: the radar signal transmission/reception device SCEU, an active phased array antenna SATA, and a data downlink antenna KaPA. This X-band imaging radar device is designed for small satellites weighing 150 kg, offering an ultra-high resolution of 0.3 m. It transmits wideband RF signals to the observation area while orbiting at an altitude of 500 km and receives the reflected signals to acquire Earth observation data.

SAIT CIRUS has been fortunate to receive generous funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and Prairies Canada to support the development of our research centre and supporting applied research projects. Hermetic connectors are a special class of sealed Mil /Aero interconnect that incorporates glass-to-metal or other highly-engineered sealing technology. Hermetic seal connectors are specified for applications as divergent as submarines and orbiting satellites. They are deployed to resist moisture ingress in underground applications and to withstand pressure differentials in vacuum chambers, laboratory equipment and commercial and military aircraft. Hermetic seal connectors, such as the MIL-DTL-38999 Series I, II, III and IV supplied by Glenair, are principally designed for use in military aerospace — in fact, the sealing requirement for connector hermeticity was originally driven by military electronic applications. But the products are equally at home in commercial applications such as oil-patch, logging equipment or medical devices.
