The APA-10 is a hybrid GPU equipped with diesel engine for continuous power and batteries for engine starting mode. Lightweight and maneuverable, the unit is perfect for indoor and outdoor use. Its relatively small size and extreme agility allow bringing the rectifier to any desired position. The elegant casing is made out of composite material, providing it long life and comfort to the user. The intuitive interface is user-friendly, making the GPU easy to control. Equipped with a highly durable chassis and mechanical braking system, this GPU is well prepared for heavy-duty and harsh conditions. Whether satellites, spacecraft or space debris – GESTRA, the "German Experimental Surveillance and Tracking Radar", is a state-of-the-art radar system for observing and tracking objects in space. It operates in the microwave range and explores the Low Earth Orbit of 300 to 3,000 kilometres, i.e. the range in which most satellites and the International Space Station (ISS) are located. This makes it possible, for example, to protect space systems or the ISS from a collision with debris particles by providing a timely warning. Millions of tiny particles orbit the earth and, at a speed of around 28,000 km/h, pose a threat to active space technologies. GESTRA was developed and built by the Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques FHR on behalf of the German Space Agency at DLR.

A VGA (640×480) LWIR (8–12 µm) uncooled micro-bolometer module with 12 µm pixel pitch and NETD ≤ 50 mK, paired with an F1.0, 10.7 mm EFL lens delivering H42° / V31.5° / D52.5° FOV. It streams at 30 Hz in either UVC (USB-C, 5 V) or GMSL1 (FAKRA, 12 V), with power consumption < 1.9 W. The compact, lightweight housing (30×30×58.9 mm for UVC; 30×30×70.9 mm with FAKRA for GMSL1; IP65; −40 °C to 85 °C) makes it well-suited for autonomous vehicles, UAVs, and security systems, providing reliable day/night thermal perception of pedestrians, animals, and objects in adverse weather.
