For the integration of a larger number of cameras, our advanced VDU represents the signal processing core for all Kappa’s turnkey AE DVE & SAS systems. This high-speed and digital FPGA based processing core offers multiple HD-SDI camera inputs and several HD-SDI outputs for lowest system latency performance glass-to-glass. Additional control and H.264 IP streaming interfaces greatly increase the VDU flexibility and enable information sharing between vehicles. Controlled by the crew or the gearbox switch, the VDU processes the selected camera channels, mixes and scales multiple camera information, performs driver assistance and tactical overlays of text and icons, and fi nally routes the selected view data to the respective output for display on the cockpit monitors. The System 100 Single Tube Mast is a lightweight, high-strength solution for fast, flexible deployments in military, emergency response, and expeditionary communications operations. Its single-tube design enables controlled, safe extension and retraction to the desired height, streamlining setup and pack-down in time-sensitive scenarios. Weibel’s Doppler 3D tracking radars are designed for precise measurements of free-flying objects such as projectiles, artillery rounds, and rockets. The systems are highly effective for detailed debris tracking, range safety tests, missile tests, and space launches. Weibel’s tracking radars are phased array X-band CW, MFCW and FMCW radar systems consisting of state of the art phased array Doppler radar antennas, high performance pedestals, real-time multi-object tracking processors and state of the art waveform generators, all controlled from the operator console.

Side shells, wing shells and fuselage structures are made of CFK, GFK, aluminium or organic sheets and get connected during production. Sealants are used to seal the connection surfaces. These are usually two-component polysulphides, which have to be applied in different geometries. Typical applications are: Fillet sealings, oversealings, interface sealings and seal caps. Due to their properties, polysulfides require very low pressure and shear handling. The compressibility of the fillers contained in the medium requires a high level of expertise and a coherent overall system from material removal to application. With manual application, long production times and high material ejection have a negative influence on the complete process. Complex quality standards are required due to the risk of human error. With the in-house developments of the vipro-DUOMIX from ViscoTec, this process can be depicted fully automatically. The individual nozzle design is also adapted to each application. The result is a controlled dosage in compliance with the specifications and at the same time the highest repeat accuracy.
